We’re kicking off these 24 days of advent with a pink combination. Today the spotlight is on Catrice’s “It’s Up To You, New York”, a limited edition mini polish, and an indie polish made by yours truly: “Stormy Love”.
Catrice’s Travel Iconails C03 “It’s Up To You, New York” is a metallic, glittery polish in a pink, almost rose gold kind of colour. It has a gorgeous shine to it, and would make a cute accent nail polish as well. Applied are two thin coats, although even a thicker one coat would suffice.
Bows & Polkadots “Stormy Love” is a polish from my own (discontinued) indie brand. This is one coat, without topcoat on top. It’s a glitter topcoat with small metallic glitters (in pink and gold), as well as white, black, and red matte glitter in different shapes and sizes. It also has red matte hearts in it, which was the inspiration for the name.
I thought the combination would look okay at best, but I kind of like it! I’ve never used either of the polishes, and appreciate both of them. It’s an unexpected combination, and not one I would’ve made without having to match polishes together, but like it regardless of that.
