Week 3 of Halloween looks is here, and today I have a green, metallic one for you all! Green is a colour that I have a love/hate relationship with: I love how it looks on my skin, but it simply doesn’t spark joy for me very often. For today’s look, however, it’s the showstopper of the look.
This is by far one of my favourite greens – if I ever wear them. Technic’s Viper has the most appropriate name ever for this look, and I happily adorned the polish with a snake sticker on my thumb. I initially wanted to opt for a more Slytherin-approved look, but besides me not wanting to support a terf by naming them on my blog, it would also distract from the polish itself too much, as well as the other nails.
Because I used my handmade water decals for the first time! On both my middle and ring finger, I started with a coat of Essence’s Wild White Ways, as my decals are transparent. Placing the handmade decals was a bit of a struggle, especially as the spraypaint is less soluble in acetone than normal nail decals. But no complains here: it’s way easier than to create it by painting my nails, haha! On my index finger and pinkie I went with a single coat of Park Avenue’s black (OCW!), with one green rhinestone added to it.
