Sometimes I’m uncertain what colour to put on my nails. And sometimes, it ends up in a fun manicure combining the colours I was uncertain of! Today I’m sharing a nail art with pastel french tips, a combination that suits the lovely weather very well.
For this look, I used three nail polishes. The first one is 04 “Oh Daisy Darling!” (LE “Oh Happy Daisy”) by Essence, visible as main colour on my index finger and pinkie. It’s a pastel pink, suitable for spring and with a cool undertone. Catrice’s C05 “Turqouisensai” (LE “Zensibility”) rocks my middle finger, and is slightly more neon than the other colours. It’s a stunning blue colour with a slight turquoise undertone. Finishing the look is Models Own “Lilac Sheen”, a polish from their HyperGel line. It’s a pastel lavender with the smoothest formula ever.
The french tips were made with a thin striping brush dipped in the contrasting colour. All base colours are done in three coats, and I’m wearing Essie’s “Here To Stay” and Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat” as respectively base and top coat.
I think this is a very fun way to play with colours whenever you can’t choose one single polish to wear! It’s easy, looks fun, and shows off not one, but three lovely colours. It’s definitely a nail art I want to try more often!
