Hellooooo my lovely readers, and a very happy pride month to you! Today I’m showing you a simple nail art to celebrate pride month with you. As a queer person myself, I always love this month, as it’s a celebration to be unapologetically yourself regardless of your romantic preferences. Plus it’s a good way to add some fun colours in your manicure! ;P
First of all: how cute are these bottles?! It’s the Hop, Hoop, Hooray Reloaded collection by Catrice, and as a proud (see what I did there?) bun mum, I simply HAD to add them to my collection. This specific colour is C08 “Floral Bouquet”, a cool-toned pink. I wear it on my thumb, index finger, and pinkie.
I went with two accent nails, on my middle and ring fingers. For this design, I started with three (holo’s are DRAMATIC!) coats of Nfu Oh’s 62, a coppery nude linear holo. On top of that, I freehanded some swirls in different colours, and added some small details in white.
For the rainbow I went with six different colours. The green is Catrice’s C06 “Spring Meadow” (LE “Hop, Hop, Hooray Reloaded”), the blue Kiko’s 295 “Azzuro Ceruleo”, the purple Catrice’s C09 “Lavender Peony” (LE “Hop, Hop, Hooray Reloaded”), the bright pink Catrice’s C07 “Basket of Tulips” (LE “Hop, Hop, Hooray Reloaded”), the orange Catrice’s C04 “Morning Glory” (LE “Hop, Hop, Hooray Reloaded”), and finally the yellow is Only You’s 113 “Banana Split”. For the white accents I used my trusted Essence 33 “Wild White Ways”. For some added pizazz, I put three rhinestones on the pink nails.
