Catrice LE Magic Christmas Story – C01 Land of Snow

by Deborah

Today I have a quick post for you, showing a nail polish I would not have reviewed, if it didn’t catch my eye the moment I woke up this morning after painting it in the dark yesterday. It’s a limited edition from Catrice’s Christmas collection, which means you can possibly pick it up with a good 50% off.

The colour is called “Land of Snow”, and is part of Catrice’s Christmas 2023 collection, called “Magic Christmas Story”. This line was a rather classic one, but with a good twist: the beauty items consisted images of nutcrackers. Besides this nail polish, the line contained two others: a pale gold one called “Clara’s Adventures“, and a very bright, almost neon red with the name “Land of Sweets“. Catrice mentions the caps of the polish is based off the hat of a nutcracker. Both were also available at my local Kruidvat, but didn’t really catch my eye.

Land of Snow, however, did! It’s a stunning navy crelly filled to the brim with blue, silver, and even purple (micro)glitters. Depending on how the light hits your nails, it shows any of the aforementioned colours of glitter.

You’ll have to excuse me for not cleaning my nails properly, as this polish was never intended to reach this blog at all. But it’s simply too gorgeous not to show! It has some depth to it that makes it near impossible to look away from the stunningness of this colour. It’s not a colour I’d usually go for, but it’s definitely one that I will wear more often! It somehow also reminds me of Essie’s famous “Starry Starry Night“, one of their older versions (not the revival, which contains much bigger glitters).

The original price of this polish is €3,69, but I got it with 50% off at my local Kruidvat, and paid only €1,84.

[…] This one I’ve shown before on the blog! Pictured is Catrice’s C01 “Land of Snow” from their last Christmas collection “Magic Christmas Story”. I think my review on this was very clear, so I’m not going to write a lot about it here. You can find my review over here. […]
